Clearview is proud to support the upcoming Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch. Taking place on Thursday 5th of December, the annual event raises funds for local charities and organisations specialising in helping young people.
Facilitated by volunteers from local companies, the event promises to be an afternoon of fun, food and fundraising, with live entertainment and an auction with some fantastic items available to bid on.
How Clearview is supporting the Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch
Members of our team will be in attendance at the Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch to offer their support to the event’s beneficiaries.
Not only are we looking forward to supporting the highly worthy beneficiaries, but our team will also have the opportunity to network with other local organisations.
Beneficiaries of the Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch
Last year, the Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch was held at Huddersfield Cedar Court and raised a fantastic £29,862. The total amount raised from KACCL has been £165,000 since its inception in 2016.
This year’s beneficiaries are Project Youth Cancer and Fresh Futures. These are both incredible charities that offer life-changing services within the local community.
Project Youth Cancer offers vital support for young people affected by cancer. The charity ensures they always feel supported through treatment and beyond. They also offer a range of therapies and fund research into cancers that specifically affect young people.
Fresh Futures is a charity that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people, and their families within Kirklees and the surrounding area. The organisation’s core aim is to ‘improve lives and inspire change’ through its four interwoven strands of work. These are Education, Health & Wellbeing, Employability & Skills, and Relationships. Fresh Futures’ work is essential in empowering individuals and giving them all opportunities for a better life.
