The homeowner wanted to open up the ground floor with extensions to the rear and side of the property. After contacting the ClearView team, it was agreed that the best way to achieve this would be with aluminium windows added to the side and bi-folding doors installed to the rear timber extension.
The bi-folding door to the rear comprised three panels with 4mm toughened glass and one fixed window. Bi-folding doors are great for adding easy access to the garden, something which will be useful in connecting the rear of the property to the outdoor space as we head into the summer months as well as adding more light to the kitchen and rear of the house.
The new windows installed to the side extension will maximise natural light around the entrance to the property and the whole downstairs now has a much brighter feel thanks to the home transformations completed with Clear View.
